Join us - All you need to know
Our membership year runs for 12 months from 1st April. Membership for 2026-27 is now open! Click here to renew online - or to join for the first time.

Our GDPR statement is available for download here.

The 2026-27 subscripton is just £48 for individual Membership for all 9 lectures. This entitles you to attend all our lectures, join one of our volunteering projects, book onto our trips and events as well as having Membership of The Arts Society, the National Association. 

As a Member you receive through the post The Arts Society Magazine, the high quality quarterly national journal. You can also access nationally organised study days, and foreign travel (including tours and cruises led by experts in their fields), discounts for art galleries and much more.

Our Season runs from 1st April until the end of March, (we don’t meet in April, August and December). Lectures are held at 10.30am, generally on the 3rd Thursday of the month (but please check the listing) and last around an hour.

Tickets for all our special events and trips are advertised in our monthly email newsletters and sold at our lecture meetings.

Why not come along to an Arts Society TASHA lecture as a Guest, for just £10 per lecture to discover what we do. Alternatively you may join on arrival for any of our lectures.

To book as a Guest, go to the lecture description by clicking here; there is a link to the payment system at the bottom of the page. Guest booking for each lecture goes live 28 days beforehand. Otherwise please contact the Membership Secretary membership.tasha@gmail.com prior to arrival.
